In 2024 for the General Fund, new police department interior renovations were done by Hedstrom Builders for $19,935. A 2024 Chevy Equinox was purchased for Zoning from Ganley Chevrolet of Aurora LLC for $29,210. The Park Department sealed asphalt throughout, Woodworth Park from S & B Asphalt and Seal Coating for $2,600.
The Fire Department paid its fifth and final installment of a Sutphen Pumper Capital Lease to own to Huntington Bank for $96,434. The department also purchased Tait Mares port radios from Hudson Communications LLC for $48,241. The Police Department purchased (4)four
2024 Chevrolet Tahoes from Ganley Chevrolet of Aurora LLC for a total of $208,640. The department also purchased new cruiser radios from Motorola Solutions for $30,110. The Federal Law Enforcement Fund purchased two new laptops and docking stations from Tech Advisor for $9,610 and two ballistic shields from Blue Line LTD for $6,200.
The Road Department completed the 1 / 4 % Sales Tax paving for Callawoods, Fredericktown, Crouse, West Middletown and East Gate from R.T. Vernal Paving & Excavating for $341,298. The OPWC/Township sharing Projects were completed for Miley Rd and Fox Run from R.T.
Vernal Paving and Excavating for $218,712 with $85,298 coming from OPWC and the balance of $133,414 from the Gas Tax Fund, Motor Vehicle License Tax Fund and the Permissive Motor Vehicle License Tax Fund. The Road Department purchased a 2024 Ford F350 from Tri State Ford and a snow plow for it from Witmer's Hilltop Lawn & Garden for $54,745 and $7,797, respectively. The department also purchased a fabric cover/installation for the salt building from Wecover Building Systems for $33,040 and replaced the heaters in the garage from NDC Heating and Cooling LLC for $10,100.
All year-end unencumbered fund balances were sufficient enough to sustain fund projections for 2025.
