Scenic but Vibrant community with small town charm
The BEST Place to BE!
Beaver Township was established in 1811. Geographically- our township is 6 miles by 6 miles and is deemed a political subdivision, governed by 3 elected Trustees and a Fiscal Officer.
Our township residents call home in many neighborhoods, estate homes, condos, villas, 6 nursing homes and even some rural farms. Our population is just under 7,000 residents according to the last census.
Education and learning are an important consideration for living here-within our borders 4 outstanding schools districts are represented. Although these schools are excellent, private education is utilized by some of our children, as well as some homeschooling.
Beaver Township maintains 3 wonderful parks-stop and enjoy a walk along 80 acres of our Nature Preserve which also has numerous wooded paths as well as an observation deck. Woodworth Park has a newly paved walking trail (3x around is a mile!) Enjoy pickleball? We've got you covered- we have newly surfaced pickleball/tennis courts for your enjoyment. You can also host a party at one of our pavilions, one of which is located on a "catch and release" pond next to a newly updated playground (Memorial Park).
We host weekly "Music in the Park concerts" at Woodworth Park in the summer which are well attended by music lovers of all genres. These parks and 2 playgrounds also include a basketball court and several baseball fields.
Find a variety of tasty food at local restaurants, kick back at our nearby winery or be fed spiritually at one of our many churches.
Travel is a breeze with three major state routes located within the township (SR 680, SR 11, and the Ohio Turnpike). We are also within about an hour to three major airports, as well as a small private airport that stages a medical helicopter.
Beaver township is truly the Crossroad's to everywhere.
Many retail shops, grocery stores, dollar stores and a pharmacy make daily life convenient and easy access to all your needs.
Completing our lifestyle is our well trained, dedicated safety services which include an OCLEAP (Ohio Collaborative Law Enforcement Accreditation Program), full time police department and a volunteer fire \EMS service. All our safety service personnel are dedicated to making the safety and protection of our residents a priority.
Quality of life, easy living, friendly, vibrant community welcomes you to our township.
Beaver township is truly the best place to BE!
